Kathmandu, Nepal's capital has plenty of attractions. The cultural and religious sights are worth visiting. Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur, together form what UNESCO calls "the Kathmandu Valley World Heritage Site". Set at an altitude of about 4500 ft. above sea level, the city enjoys pleasant weather throughout the year. Food, shopping and nightlife are some of the other delights. The day is free for your leisure, so make your own plans.

The day is scheduled for sightseeing. Head out to explore the delights of Kathmandu. Start at the Durbar Square, where you will come across a number of interesting pagodas and Indian style temples. Hanuman Dhoka is a temple complex in the middle of the old city consisting of a number of different monuments and an image of Lord Hanuman. Next, visit the Swayambhunath. The legendary moment is one of the most popular sites of Nepal. The 2000 year-old monument is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Monument.
In the afternoon, visit Patan's Durbar Square. It is a beautiful cluster of fine pagoda temples and stone statues. Finally, visit the Tibetan Handicraft Centre.
Return to hotel for overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Today, embark on a drive to Pokhara. Known for its natural beauty, the city serves as a gateway to the Himalayas and is undoubtedly the centre of adventures like trekking and mountaineering. Trekkers in Nepal go to Pokhara, to enjoy close-up views of the mighty Himalayan peaks. Three of the world's ten highest Himalayan peaks, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu which stands 26,000 feet above the sea level can be spotted from here.
On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight in Pokhara.
Start the day with a tour of Pokhara. The beautiful valley of Himalayas is situated at a height of 2950 ft. It is rather blessed with a rare combination of surrounding sky-touching snow covered peaks, azure lakes, streams and gorges, picturesque villages inhabited by friendly ethnic tribes. Sightseeing includes visits to nearby Tibetan villages, the famous Seti George, beautiful temples like Bindhabasini Temple, Davis Fall, Mahendra Cave, and Pokhara Museum. End the day with a boat ride on Lake Phewa, the largest and most enchanting of three lakes of Pokhara. The beautiful views of the Himalayan peaks surrounding Pokhara, are said to be the highlight of any tour to Nepal.
Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Today the stop of your tour, is Chitwan, Nepal's best known national park. Spread over 932 sq. km. the area includes hilly areas of the Siwalik Range covered by deciduous sal, riverine forests, and floodplains of the Narayani, Rapti, and Reu River.
Chitwan is ecologically diverse and is the last remaining home in Nepal of more than 300 of the endangered Asian one-horned rhinoceros and a large population of the elusive and rare Royal Bengal Tiger. Among the great variety of flora and fauna found, there are four species of deer, other smaller animals, marsh crocodiles, one of the world's four species of freshwater dolphins, etc. The park offers excellent possibilities with more than 450 species recorded, including nesting migrants.
On arrival at Chitwan, check in at the jungle lodge. Rest for the night.
Today leave for a game safari. Early morning and evening game safaris are available in the Chitwan National Park. Safaris are organized either by jeep, or on Elephants. Walking safaris are also available. Local guides and naturalists are available at hand to enhance the experience.

Start the day with healthy breakfast at the lodge, transfer back to Kathmandu. On arrival, check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, embark on an excursion to Bhaktapur. It is a wonderful treasure of medieval architecture founded in the 9th century. The first stop of your tour includes the Golden Gate at the Palace of 55 windows. Next, proceed to the Nyatapole temple which is the tallest in the country. Visit the Dattatreya temple and Pujari Math, for its uniquely carved wooden windows.

The trip ends with a transfer back to Kathmandu International Airport in time for your flight home.
