Following your arrival in Goa, our tour representative will take you to the hotel for your pre-decided stay. Starting with a 7 day long excursion, bask in the glory of sun throughout the sandy beaches of Goa. Baga Beach, Calangute Beach and Dona Paula Beach are among the most popular beaches in Goa. After a leisurely trip on the Goa beaches, it's time for you to savor some mouth watering food. The city of Goa is popular for its seafood such as oysters, lobsters, prawns and crabs. All these animals are used for making a large variety of pickles and curries. Post sightseeing, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
The day 2 is scheduled for a trip to the magnificent churches of Goa. The churches that you will visit include Basilica of Bom Jesus, Chapel of St. Francis of Assisi and Chapel of St. Francis Xavier. The tiny Indian state is home to some spectacular temples such as Shri Saunsthan Goudpadacharya Temple, Shri Mahalsa Temple and Shri Ramnath Temple. Post sightseeing on the 2nd day, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
The 3rd day is scheduled for the exploration of Portuguese era forts in Goa. Aguada Fort is one of the major forts in Goa. For adventurous souls, head straight to Dona Paula Beach and partake in water sports such as water skiing and scuba diving. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
There is also a less explored aspect of Goa tourism wherein the landscape is occupied by a large variety of fauna and flora species. Some popular wildlife sanctuaries in Goa are Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary and Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary. Post the wildlife excursion; tourists can experience the thrilling nightlife of Goa and explore the one of the shacks located around. Stay overnight in the hotel.
The day 5 is scheduled for a day trip to a miniature Goan village, which is more than 100 years old. It's time to touch the traditional roots of Goa. The hotel is situated atop of a small hill town at Loutim in South Goa. The village is located around 10 kilometers away from Margao. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
On the 6th day of the tour, you will visit the Dudhsagar Waterfalls after enjoying a hearty breakfast. Dudhsagar Waterfalls are considered as one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Goa and is situated on the eastern border with Karnataka.
Falling from a height of 320 m, it is regarded among one of the tallest waterfalls of India. The water, as its plummets, creates a foamy milk. This is also why the waterfall is known as Dudhsagar, which means, "sea of milk".
Start your day by driving across the state of Goa and passing through small villages, past bright paddy fields and swaying palm trees. Drive your way to Collem to board the safari van/safari jeep to take you to the waterfalls. A short hike in the forest leads you to the base of the waterfalls. Enjoy the swimming in the pond and soak in the beauty of this majestic place.
After having lunch, indulge in the adventure activities and experience the thrills of an elephant ride. Feed the elephant and capture some memorable memories with him by clicking a photo with him (it should be noted that this is not included in your tour and is payable at the site itself, along with the safari charges). Later, visit the Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary and spot some of the exotic species of wildlife.
Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
The 7th day of Goa is scheduled for you to enjoy sun bathing, stroll around the sun bathing and enjoy a leisurely stroll on the silvery sands before culminating your weeklong trip in Goa.
