Kutch Rann Utsav highlights the beauty and magnificence of the Rann of Kutch. This festival displays the culture and traditions of its people, and is marked by music, dance and a host of other exciting activities. Celebrated during the full moon night of the winters, this festive bonanza, held over a period of three to four days, showcases the hospitality and vigour of its people.
This three to four day festival lets the visitor experience the ethnic culture and tradition of the people. During this time, visitors are shown the arts and crafts of the region, along with the display of vernacular architecture. Folk music and dance performances are also organised. Besides these, colourful fairs are held near the beach and entertain the visitors immensely. Some of the greatest attractions of this event are para motoring, ATV, rifle shooting, star gazing and archery, besides others. Further, the excellent accommodation options available enhance the entire experience greatly.
